Happy Halloween !!!!

Happy Halloween- here are some pics of our boys tonight.

Halloween Parade

Our small hometown has a Halloween Parade every year where the high school and junior high bands play music, there are Halloween floats, kids and adults dressed up in their costumes and of course, Jake's favorite, the police and fire trucks with their lights and sirens on. They start the parade with fireworks, then the paraders walk and throw candy to the kids on the sides of the streets. Jake is still learning to be assertive and to run and grab for the candy when it is thrown. His strategy is to hold his basket out in the hopes that someone will put candy in it. It worked a couple of times ; ) One picture, he wasn't too happy, one of the little girls kept telling him his glow stick wasn't his- so sensitive ; )

Simple Pleasures

4 Generations

We visited Great Grandma Dodie at her home and here are the four generations.

Grandma and Grandpa G.

Grandpa and Grandma G came here for a little visit. We visited the apple orchard, played pirates, read books and Jake had fun with a new train clock they received from Grandma and Grandpa.

Knitted Hats

Grandma R made these cute knitted hats for the boys. While taking the boys out for a walk - we put their hats to good use.

I know, I know....... it has been awhile since I last post- I left the camera I am borrowing at my parent's house and I realized, I really miss having a camera. Anyhow, pics are coming soon and updates on our recent adventures. It has been busy busy around here lately - not enough time in the day to get everything done- it just carries on to the next day.

Halloween Bat Bear

Both boys received a Halloween Bat Bear. Owen loves his! He takes it everywhere he can. When he sees it, he crawls like he is on a mission to get it. If he is given it, then he smiles so big and grabs for it. He even clutches it in his hand when he is crawling.
We were at a store, and my purse was next to him and he kept putting it in my purse, then taking it out, then putting it back in, etc. etc.

Playground fun

Today, we had a busy day of Dr's appointments, errands, and playground time!
We discovered a caterpillar and returned him to a tree and Owen thought it was a little sunny out, so he borrowed my shades.
