Slackin'
Ok, I have been slackin' in the blog department.....
I will post some photos and things I am working on coming up very soon. I am sorry for those family peeps who have not seen recent pics of the boys- especially the ones in AZ. I promise to make this more of a priority!!
Yesterday I told Rob, I thought Owen looked older, and I see him everyday- so you will have to tell me if you think he has changed or has gone through a growth spurt.
In the next few weeks, I am going to be working on incorporating work life into family life. I also seem to always try to incorporate "me" time and all the creative projects I want to tackle.
This is a constant battle, but one, I know I am not alone in. In the meantime, here is a bouquet for you.........

This sums it up .....
Your Word is "Love" |
You see life as possibility to form deep connections with a few people. Relationships are the center of your world, and you always take time to bond with those you love. You are caring and giving. You enjoy helping those you love. And when it comes to romantic love, you feel passionately ... even in a very long term relationship. |

Owen's new shoes
We are fortunate to have two boys and with that comes hand me down clothes, toys and shoes for our younger boy, Owen.
Owen learned to walk at about 14 months and since it was winter, I have not bothered putting shoes on him. Since the temperatures are warmer, we decided to go to the park yesterday.
Rob pulled out a pair of really cool, lighted, velcro tennis shoes for Owen and put them on. He had fun walking around with these on. He was stomping around the kitchen, lovin' the noise the shoes made against the floor.......

No, we are not giving our 3 year old coffee....
No, we are not giving Jake coffee, it is just an iced chocolate milk with whip cream ; )
What a life, huh?? Playin' all day, carefree, the biggest decision is whether or not to color with crayons or play with cars??? Ahhhh, to be a kid again- that is why it is so fun to relive childhood through them.......
Although, I am secretly hoping that once he is 16, he'll want to get his first job as a barista, so that Mommy and Daddy can use his Starbucks discount ..... haha!

Book List
For the past two years in January, I have been making a list of books that I want to read for the new year. Last year, I read very little. But I was a very busy mom of a newborn, so I am cutting myself some slack haha!
Anyhow, this year, I wrote a new list. Here is a picture of SOME of the books on my list- they are on my bookshelf, waiting to be read. I usually choose a variety- fiction, self help, biographies, and crafty books.....
My first book I finished was Barbara Walter's Audition. I have been reading the Twilight series books and they are great!!! I highly recommend them!! I am almost done with Eclipse which is the third one out of four. Anyhow, I have read so far THREE books the month of January- which isn't any easy thing with 2 young boys- but it proves that I can make the time for myself!!!!
