February Fun

February is winding down and what a great week.   We are going "live" Monday March 2nd and I am excited and ready to get started.  I will still be working Monday thru Friday until we are fully staffed!!  So many things to come and to be a part of the beginning is exciting!!

I am trying to finish Gone Girl and then I  have some other books ready to read.....I'm really excited for the Fringe Hours....This is a constant struggle for me personally....  This weekend I am going to put some more SB pics together ...such a fun and easy craft...will post pics after...

Some valentine pics......j went to a birthday party at the skatepark and there was a professional skater there showng the kids some things.... then the kids got his autograph..... my moms are so talented!!  They made me an afghan and a fused glass candle holder--had to take a pic!!!   Robby got me some flowers, monster high girl and chocolate covered strawberries!!!!

February 2015

I can not believe it is already February!!! It seems like it was just the new year!

I  am loving my new job!!  I work with some really nice people, I have a awesome, positive boss and I am very excited for this new role and department!!! I really do think when one door shuts, another door opens!!

We have made some really big goals financially... being laid off unexpectantly was not a great feeling and we were not prepared and we do not want to feel that way again... so we have a plan in place and have made some very lofty goals...but realistic!! 
I have made some personal goals and adding more reading is one of them...I have been focusing on the books I have at home...I have a lot of scrapbooking to do also and catch up on and am considering joining a monthly "Project Life"  but in a few months....in the mean time, I am making other crafty things....   Here are some recent pics!!

Took the kids to the new SpongeBob movie..... I had to invest in a new lunch bag for work...salads and fruit for me and avoid the in-house cafeteria.....; )

I love this wine label...I may have to put some lights in it and decorate the top!!

New Year

I am in the middle of organizing, making goal lists, planning and plotting.    I have 1 more week until I start my new job, so I am trying to get some things done and catch up on some things.....

I have many goals for the new year and I just love a new year!!

Fruit smoothies for my little loves....

My mom is teaching me to knit.....I'm knitting!!!!    Next will be purling!!

My favorite salad...BBQ chicken with avocado cilantro dressing...YUM!

Organizing all over....my makeup, books,  journals all in one place and next the office!!

Pre new year planning!!!

It is almost the new year and I always like to set some goals.....

I have some time before I start my new job to get a few things done and do some planning..

I always make a book list...this year was better, I read about 10 books this past year.    In 2015, I have a longer list....some that carried over....

First and foremost is to get back to work and save some money!!! I have a savings goal and would love to meet that

Hiking.... hiking and more hiking!!!   It has been a little cool, but I am going to start with the boys tomorrow and get on this before the 1st!

Scrapbook and cross stitch.... (knitting- if I can get the hang of this) is also my plan...and less t.v.   although I really do not watch much of this as it is.....

So today, started to take the decorations down and put away..... I'm ready for the new year, since the end of 2014 has been kind of crappy!!    Here are some recent pics!!
