The boys did great today.  J passed his bronze jr level and will now be in the bronze level and O passed the first part of the beginner level!!!!!  So proud of them!!!

OK so I am trying out this app for the blog.  We took the kids to the park and of course taking pictures so we took a silly shot!!!!!

September and the 1st day of Autumn!!!

Today is the first day of Autumn, although, it did not feel like it..... it was a little warm- but the fact that we can "open up" turn off the air for the morning, means we are on our way!!!

Later this week the highs will be in the 90's , which means it is cooling down   hahaha!
Seriously, soon we will be bringing out the long sleeve shirts and the sweaters as coats! love it!

I just went through some bins of clothes, with my recent weight loss, I was able to go "shopping" in my own room and pull out some shirts I could not wear- it's great and I have more, where that came from!   I, swear, I have clothes from size 10 to 18- it is crazy!!!  With our moves, though, I have only saved the good stuff......  I have a goal of 10-15 lbs by 11/4 for the EDDIE VEDDER concert!  I will have to work hard for that one!!!

Brotherly love......

I have been busy working on the scrapbooks and trying to catch up to current pics by the time we move to a house.  I have much to do!   I have been getting back into making some crafty things.....Soon the weather will be nice- to do my table I have been waiting to make-  I needed an outdoor space, but due to the heat, I had to put that off until the weather changes.    MOM I NEED MORE CARDS!!!  I have another idea in the works- and in fact, I do not think I will need the weather to cool down for this one........  I have the table in the garage, but the epoxy can not take the heat.  This other project, I do not think I will use Epoxy......Stay tuned!!  Enjoy the recent pics......

Wow  Where has August went?    School has started and I guess that is why this month went so fast!

We went to a Skateland party for Back to School  sponsored by the PTO- and the boys had fun!   Jake has been skating before, but Owen, this was his first time.  They has these "skate mates" that are things the kids can use to steady themselves while they are learning to skate...... Picture a walker, in the shape of a "V" with wheels on the bottom.      We did not have these growing up???  We fell and learned the hard way!

I love skating!   It reminds me of skating in the garage when I was little.......   The people watching was more fascinating though, some parents were really in their "element"   skating, showing off their moves...... it was very interesting......

Big news here, is that the tooth fairy came to our house for the first time!!!  Jake lost his 1st tooth and he already has a second loose tooth- the next one to it...... See picture (s)...... anyhow, he even has a little lisp when he talks.   He was very excited and he got $1 for the tooth!  Man, I don't think I got $ 1 dollar when I was little, must be inflation!

I finally tried Skinny Girl Margarita-  quite tasty and I am looking forward to the other wines she has put out there!!!

It is strong in ETOH ( that is alcohol for the non nursing bunch) but quite tasty and it has "the finest tequila and agave nectar" as the sweetner !  YUM!
