Friends

Last night I talked to one of my very good friends from Arizona- we haven't spoken since before the holidays, so we had a little catch up to do. She was one of the first people I met out in AZ that I really connected with- it sounds so weird, but I do mean that.
Out there, everyone is from somewhere else, I think the whole time we lived out there, I met 2 natives!!!!!! Natives being they were actually born in the state!!! That just tells you something right there.
We met at work and one night, we went out to dinner and I think we practically closed the place and we have been friends ever since.....
Whenever we get on the phone, it tends to be a marathon talking session, you know the kind, where the phone batteries die, and in the middle of the phone call, we are switching phones etc...... well, anyways it was really nice to talk to her and it seems like every time we talk, we just pick up where we left off ..... I love that about our friendship, there is never any awkwardness, she is like a sister to me....

I am so happy she is following her dreams and making it happen, Kris, you go girl!!

Speaking of good friends...... I found this picture of Owen and another old friend I lost along the way- she looks a little tattered, and aged, but then again, don't we all????
Too bad, I can't remember her name though......
