Ok- I have been having some technical issues with the camera- Mom- thanks for letting me use it- but I think, I must buy one...... the camera is working fine- but when I am trying to upload pics - the cord is not being read by the computer- I think it is an issue with the cord
Needless to say, I am taking all kinds of pics- but I can not download any : (
So I guess I will be buying a new camera- any suggestions??

My Nikon Coolpix works great and I don't have much tech knowledge.
We need to have pics of the grandkids for our periodic fix!
You can buy a card reader from walmart. I have one its from the brand Targus and is called a card reader. It plugs into the same place you would put a USB cable or Flash/Thumb/Zip drive (whatever you call it). It's really easy and nice to use and it's a lot cheaper than a new camera (seriously it's only about $10 or less).
Yes, you can get a card reader if your computer doesnt have one on it. Most computers now have card readers. You might check your printer too. They have card readers on a lot of them.
Pam, go to cnet.com and you can review camera choices and see what is recommended. Anything from point and shoot to DSLR's. Or a card reader or new cord would be a cheaper route. Happy picture taking. :)
