We went to a Skateland party for Back to School sponsored by the PTO- and the boys had fun! Jake has been skating before, but Owen, this was his first time. They has these "skate mates" that are things the kids can use to steady themselves while they are learning to skate...... Picture a walker, in the shape of a "V" with wheels on the bottom. We did not have these growing up??? We fell and learned the hard way!
I love skating! It reminds me of skating in the garage when I was little....... The people watching was more fascinating though, some parents were really in their "element" skating, showing off their moves...... it was very interesting......
Big news here, is that the tooth fairy came to our house for the first time!!! Jake lost his 1st tooth and he already has a second loose tooth- the next one to it...... See picture (s)...... anyhow, he even has a little lisp when he talks. He was very excited and he got $1 for the tooth! Man, I don't think I got $ 1 dollar when I was little, must be inflation!
